Strengthening our presence in the North East and expanding the support available to customers across the UK.
We’re pleased to announce that Northern Handling Systems Ltd has joined Stacatruc, marking another important step in the continued growth of our UK materials handling network.
Based in Stockton-on-Tees, Northern Handling Systems has built an established reputation for providing materials handling equipment and support to businesses across the North East.
By bringing the two businesses together, we can build on those existing customer relationships and local expertise while providing access to the wider resources and capabilities of Stacatruc.
Local support. National capability.
For Northern Handling Systems customers, it’s very much business as usual. The existing team and local support remain, but customers can now benefit from Stacatruc’s broader materials handling offering.
This includes access to our extensive UK stockholding of new and used equipment, short and long-term forklift hire, nationwide engineering support, planned maintenance and breakdown response, fleet management, training and telematics.
The acquisition also strengthens Stacatruc’s presence in the North East, helping us provide even greater support to businesses operating individual trucks, larger fleets and multiple sites across the UK.

The acquisition is the latest step in Stacatruc’s continued growth strategy, supported by investment partner YFM Equity Partners, as the business expands its geographical reach and strengthens its materials handling capabilities across the UK.
