At Stacatruc, an Engineering apprenticeship provides the opportunity to learn how to inspect, maintain, service, and repair various types of material handling equipment. Did you know our longest serving engineer has been with the company for 29 years!
From forklifts, warehouse machinery, to the latest automated trucks. You will gain hands-on experience with diverse battery technologies and truck telematics. Throughout the apprenticeship, you will rotate through different departments within the company and receive guidance from a mentor to enhance your skills. The program entails a three-year training and development scheme, involving studies in mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
By completing this apprenticeship, you will not only attain a nationally recognized qualification but also acquire valuable on-the-job experience. The training will comprise a mix of college courses and in-house training sessions. A typical 3 year engineering course.
Year 1: Onboarding
Year 2: Assist in scheduled preventative maintenance Training (college & on-the-job)
Year 3: Assist in scheduled preventative maintenance, fault diagnosis and rectification Training (college & on-the-job)
